Golf is cool, disc-golf is cooler. Worldwide, more and more amateur and professional disc-golf players are crazy about the game with frisbee and baskets. Understandably so, because there is no dress-code and expensive equipment needed here – instead, there is a whole lot of fun to be had. The rules are simple: From the starting point, the objective is to toss a frisbee into the next basket in as few throws as possible. In Hamburg's Stadtpark – directly in front of our hotel, there is a 14-basket course where you can watch disc-golfers put their throwing skills to the test.
With Germany's very first frisbee-trickshot parcours, Holiday Inn is giving the frisbee-golf game a whole new dimension, offering not just loads of fun for the young and young-at-heart, but also a place where ambitious disc-golfers can put the final touches to their game.
There are five stations where players have to get around various obstacles and throw the little disc into the basket, around gates and rings, boards, half-pipes and slots to reach the target with as few throws as possible and, because it is not just a whole lot of fun, but can be quite addictive, the course in our 1,500 m2 garden is, of course, free for our hotel guests – you are welcome to play as often as you like.
Other guests pay the small fee of €4,50 per person and hour. Additionally, there is always a charge of a refundable secury deposit of €20,00 for the frisbee rental.
